Meatloaf Recipe

Myrtie Mae's Meatloaf

2 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/3 cup croutons
1 large yellow onion, diced
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2/3 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
12 ounces (about 1 1/2 cups) ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Mix beef, croutons, onions, egg, salt and pepper; form into a loaf. Whisk ketchup, brown sugar and mustard together and pour over meatloaf. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
