- 2 (15-inch) loaves French bread
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 (12-ounce) cans evaporated milk
- Preheat oven to 350°. Pull French bread apart in small pieces; place in big bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix well with hands.
- Pour into casserole dish; bake 1½ hours.
- Yields 10 servings.
